If the theatre world is doing it, can schools not adapt the cross-curricula approach that goes beyond the
TIE boundaries? Why limited ourselves to
TIE shows and cross curricula days? A creative curriculum that encompasses science lessons in Drama studios and Drama lessons in science labs (etc) could challenge us as teaches and promote creativity within the classroom. I would like to ‘experiment’ with this!
Perhaps you could team up with Science for one of the year 6 primary transition days in the summer or come along to our next CLN meeting next Monday (if still around) after school to discuss it with the science teachers?
