Models/Guidelines for Discussion

Have just been communicating with Jon Nicholls about the different framework models that are used at his school to structure discussions about projects and he has given some interesting links:

"Our favourite model is the Futurelab Enquiring Minds wheel which is very similar to the TASC diagram:

It's worth checking out the CCE website for research documents. There's a list of useful links on our Creative Learning site:

We're attempting to have a think about the relationship between games and creative learning in our Tallis Lab curriculum at the moment (with Year 9 students). You can find out more about it here:

We might consider using the Enquiring Minds model or TASC wheel to examine some of the projects we are involved in and their potential impact? I am also intrigued by having a few group determined foci/guidelines such as considering the 'level of creativity and risk', which might help us to structure projects/activities in the future.

Will be in touch over the holidays about the next Creative Learning Network meeting in which it would be good to look at a couple of current case studies and learn about the potential use of video in lessons.
